Free Guided Ride
Discover Sydney's bicycle-friendly streets connecting two iconic LGBTQIA + neighbourhoods. This easy 13km ride includes green spaces, quiet streets, shared paths, and cycleways connecting the bicycle network. Expect colourful rainbow paths, historic landmarks, and LQBTQIA+ attractions such as Qtopia. Ride starts and finishes at the Pride Square in Newtown, riding to Darlinghurst and back on the eve of Mardi Gras.Guided rides on behalf of City of Sydney are led by friendly professional guides from queer-owned and run, Pedal Set Go.
You'll need:
Your own roadworthy bike and helmet
Water bottle and snacks
Please arrive at 5:15pm for a 5.30pm start.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bookings required.
We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. The Cycling in the City course will equip you with the skills you need to ride in Sydney.
