Description
Join a relaxed and engaging Tree Walk beginning at the park café, suitable for all ages and abilities. This gentle, accessible stroll invites individuals, families, dog walkers, and people with disabilities to explore the park at an easy pace.
Led by knowledgeable local guide Gundula, you’ll meet some of the park’s finest tree residents and learn how to identify them. Along the way, she will share fascinating insights into their traditional uses, medicinal properties, and rich folklore and history. With a creative route and regular stops, this walk offers a chance to slow down, observe more closely, and develop a deeper connection with the trees and natural surroundings.

The Guided Tree Walk is wheelchair accessible,
It will be a gentle walk with regular pauses.
The event is child and pet friendly.
Travel information
There are regular buses from Bristol City Centre to near St George Park.
The park is also close to the Bristol and Bath Cycle path and there are places to lock up bikes.
There is a small carpark off Chalks Road and people can park on the surrounding residential streets, which don’t require parking permits.
