Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery exhibition displays art in light boxes, banners, vitrines and evening projections across Brisbane. The program transforms our city’s laneways, streets and car parks into imaginative and engaging spaces for everyone to enjoy.
The latest Outdoor Gallery exhibition, Craig & Karl: Rear Vision, co-curated by Carrie McCarthy and Angela Goddard, is a bold, playful exploration of one of Australia’s most internationally successful creative exports, foregrounding signature messages of humour, optimism and joy.
Th exhibition showcases the artist duo's, Craig and Karl, most renowned artworks, delving into themes such as community, resilience, connectivity, imagination, tolerance, and love. The art boldly explores their creative journey, highlighting their distinctive style. The collaboration between these two artists traces back to their beginnings at the Queensland College of Art & Design almost 30 years ago. The exclusive Australian exhibition and significant public art display at Griffith University Art Museum will take place from August to December 2025.
