We are very grateful for your generosity. By attending this event and donating you are supporting our vital work in plant science, conservation and education. It is also possible for you to donate on the day of your walk by cash or card at our Visitor Centre.

Please arrive at least five minutes before the start time shown on your ticket as our walks start promptly on time.

The meeting point for our walks is the Garden Shop Visitor Centre. Please find its location using our Online Map. Approximate walking times from our main gates to the Garden Shop Visitor Centre are:

Woolloomooloo Gate (opposite the Art Gallery of NSW new building), Mrs Macquaries Rd: 5 - 10 minutes accessible entrance
Henry Lawson Gate, Mrs Macquaries Rd: 5 - 10 minutes
Victoria Lodge Gate, Mrs Macquaries Rd: 10 -15 minutes accessible entrance
QEII Gate next to Opera House: 10 - 15 minutes accessible entrance
Morshead, Palace Gate and Conservatorium Gates all on Macquarie St: 10 - 15 minutes and long flight of steps

Walks will go ahead in all weather except during extreme weather events involving electrical storms, gale force winds and/or torrential rain. If you need confirmation about a walk going ahead, please call the Visitor Centre (staffed between 10-3pm) or leave a message on 9231 8327 or email tours.info@botanicgardens.nsw.gov.au

Please Note: Places on tours are limited. If you are unable to attend for any reason please let us know as soon as possible by email to tours.info@botanicgardens.nsw.gov.au so that we can offer your place to others.

These walks are designed for individuals or small family groups of up to 5 people and are not designed for larger groups such as community groups, inbound tour groups, educational organisations or corporate groups. We are happy to run private group tours for larger groups, days and times are flexible and we are happy to tailor the walk to the interests and needs of your group.
