Guided Wildflower Walk at Wireless Hill
Event description
The Friends of Wireless Hill, in partnership with the Murdoch branch of the Wildflower Society of WA, are holding our annual wildfower walk for the public on Sunday 14th September. Each group of ten people will be led by an experienced guide who will point out the plants and flowers in the bush, answer questions and provide information about the park and its plants. There are two time slots available, 8.30 or 10 am, but we will stagger the beginning of the walks so that groups are separated by about 10 minutes. This means you may register for the 8.30 walk but not start until 9am.
Registration is essential as numbers are limited by the number of guides available. Please cancel if you are not able to attend so someone else can have the opportunity. Children are free and we are happy to reimburse Healthcare Card holders on the day.
Bring your camera and some water, wear a hat and sun protection and if rain is forecast, rain protection. We will cancel in the event of a storm or heavy rain so please provide your phone number.
The path is flat and paved and is suitable for prams and wheelchairs. The walk is a loop circuit so it is easy to find your way back to the car park if you need to leave before the walk concludes.
