Midvale Hub Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers of young people 0 to 18 years who reside in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean & Bayswater.
All parents and caregivers are welcome, we value diversity and inclusion from all cultural backgrounds, family types, and abilities.
A staff member will give you a call 2/3 weeks before the program starts to complete a simple registration and check in with you about any questions or needs.
Supported by evidence-based practice. This practical 3-session program will give you down-to-earth ways to guide your child’s feelings and strengthen your connection.
Across the sessions, we’ll explore simple, realistic strategies and take home a helpful toolkit full of ideas you can use every day.
We will explore:
Understanding your child’s feelings starts with understanding their brain.
Together, we’ll look at strategies to support your child’s emotions, with a take-home toolkit of ideas you can start using straight away.
Develop emotion coaching skills to help your child understand and manage their feelings.
