FAQs

• Is this event open to non-Curtin students or guests?

  Curtin students may purchase tickets for themselves and one guest. Guests are required to enter their full details during checkout. Organisers reserve the right to verify eligibility.

• Do I need a valid Curtin Student ID?

  Yes. Discounted student tickets require a valid Curtin Student ID. IDs will be verified at registration (at entry). Invalid, expired, or incorrectly entered IDs may result in refusal of entry.

• Can the ticket purchaser enter the same details for everyone?

  No. For safety, duty of care and event communications, each attendee must provide their own full name, email address, mobile number and any dietary information.

• What do I need to bring?

  Bring:

  • Your ticket (digital or printed)

  • A valid photo ID (drivers license or passport)

  • Your Curtin Student ID (if attending on a student ticket)

  Failure to present required identification may result in denied entry

• Are under-18s permitted?

  This is an 18+ licensed event. All attendees must present valid photo identification upon entry. Accepted forms of ID include a driver's licence, passport, or Proof of Age card.

• What does my ticket cover?

  Your ticket includes event entry and the following inclusions:

  • Buffet dinner

  • Beverage package

  • Entertainment

  • Photography

• What is the dress code/what should I wear?

  This is a formal/black-tie event. Guests are expected to dress appropriately. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry where attire is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.

• What if I can no longer attend?

  Tickets are non refundable, however, we can transfer your ticket to another guest. Get in touch with our team and we can sort this out for you.

• What happens if someone behaves inappropriately?

  All attendees must comply with Curtin University policies, venue requirements, and directions from event staff and security. Antisocial, unsafe, or intoxicated behaviour may result in removal without refund.

• Can dietary requirements or accessibility needs be accommodated?

  Please indicate requirements during registration. So organisers can make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, attendees should submit details by the advertised deadline.

• What happens if I entered the wrong Student ID, name, or email address?

  Contact the organisers as soon as possible - events@guild.curtin.edu.au

  Changes may be permitted before a specified deadline.

  Tickets associated with invalid student information may be cancelled.
