Event description

Guildhouse Greets – Design Markets with Bowerbird

You’re invited to Design Markets with Bowerbird on Monday 20 May, the third edition of Guildhouse Greets. Whether you’re a design market pro or eager to dip your toes into the world of markets for the first time, this event is for you!

  • When: Monday 20 May
    5:30–7pm, for a 6pm start
  • Where: Beltana House Studio
    364 Carrington Street, Adelaide 5000
  • Free!
  • Presenters: Peggy Byrne Owner & Director, Bowerbird

Held twice yearly, Bowerbird is South Australia’s leading design market celebrating high quality Australian design and workmanship, new ideas and innovation. They have an established audience of thousands looking for unique, hand-made, Australian-designed products. This November marks the 15th year of this long standing feature in the South Australian calendar.

Bowerbird accepts applications from emerging to established designers, makers, and producers, and it’s just not about selling your wares (although you’ll definitely do that too!). It’s about connecting with like-minded individuals, building your brand, and growing your professional network.

The new face of Bowerbird, Peggy Byrne Owner and Director, will share insights into the application process, how you can reach new audiences, merchandising to stand out, marketing and promotion, the Bowerbird online directory and much more!

There will be a Q+A so if you have any specific questions, please add them to your booking registration.

After presentations we will conclude the evening with casual networking drinks where you will have the opportunity to mingle with other artists, create new connections and expand your community.

Guildhouse Greets is a new initiative from Guildhouse responding to our community's desire for more opportunities to network and break down the barriers to connection within the visual arts, craft, and design sector.
