Event description

Guildhouse, in partnership with Nexus Arts, is delighted to present Introduction to Creative Workplaces + Arts Law, a professional development session designed to strengthen artists’ understanding of workplace practices and licensing in the creative industries.

Join us for an informative afternoon featuring presentations from Creative Australia’s Creative Workplaces team and Arts Law Centre of Australia, who will both be travelling to Adelaide for this special event.

This two-hour session will include:

🕐 One hour of presentations introducing Creative Workplaces and Arts Law, with a focus on Licensing for Artists, including practical advice on contracts, copyright, and protecting your creative rights.

🤝 One hour of networking; connect with peers, presenters, and representatives from Creative Australia, Arts Law, Guildhouse, Nexus Arts and Create SA.

You’ll also have the chance to submit questions ahead of time, ensuring the content is tailored to the needs of South Australian artists and arts workers.

This event will be recorded and shared with Guildhouse Members following the session, thanks to our partners at Nexus Arts.
