Guitar Improvisation For Beginners
Description
Guitar Improvisation Workshop — Step Into Lead Guitar
Stop waiting. Start soloing.
If you've been playing rhythm guitar and wondering how lead guitarists always seem to know what to play, this workshop will show you exactly where to begin.
Designed for beginner lead guitarists, this practical, hands-on workshop will teach you how to create your own guitar solos using the pentatonic scale. You'll learn the essential concepts, techniques and practice methods to help you improvise with confidence over backing tracks and jam with other musicians.
What You'll Learn
Essential music theory: Understand the fundamentals you actually need, including TAB, sharps and flats, without unnecessary complexity.
Effective scale practice: Learn how to practise scales so they become musical rather than simply finger exercises.
Lead guitar techniques: Explore licks and phrasing techniques to develop your own solo vocabulary.
Pentatonic improvisation: Learn to improvise using one minor pentatonic pattern and one major pentatonic pattern.
Playing in any key: Learn how to transpose both scales into any key, giving you the freedom to play confidently across the fretboard.
What's Included
A professionally printed workshop manual to keep and use for future practice.
Six months' access to our online learning portal.
Twelve premium backing tracks in major and minor keys to help you continue developing your improvisation skills at home.
