Guitars Reunited
Event description
Guitars Reunited is a long-awaited chance for past students of Chris Wynne’s guitar-making courses to come together again — from the early days in the Yarra Granges, through Montsalvat in Eltham, to our workshop in Cottles Bridge and beyond.
Held at Hildebrand Ridge Organic Vineyard, a rustic winery with a stunning view just a few doors down from our workshop, this gathering is about you — the students who built instruments, shared workshops, and formed connections that still resonate today. It’s a warm opportunity to reconnect, swap stories, and celebrate the community that grew from those experiences.
Bring along a guitar you’ve built (finished or in progress) if you’d like to display it, or simply come to enjoy the company of fellow makers and musicians.
Woodfired pizzas can be pre-ordered when booking your ticket, with several options available (including vegetarian). Tea, coffee, and drinks will also be available to purchase on the day. If you have special requirements, please get in touch beforehand.
Souvenir t-shirts will be available, with proceeds supporting the creation of a community book documenting our shared history.
Guitars Reunited is about honouring our journey, strengthening friendships, and keeping the spirit of these workshops alive for the future.
