Event description

Join Eugowra Catchment Landcare on a social trip over to Forbes.

8.30am - meet at Pioneer Park Eugowra to carpool for anyone wanting to do that.

9.15am - Arrive at the big Goanna in Gum Swamp for a bit of birdwatching and a stroll around the area.

11.30am - Forbes Visitors Centre to check out their new native garden designed by Kate from Macrocarpa Landscapes. We will have Kate take us on a tour and discuss the garden answering any questions we might have about using local native plants in our gardens.

Lunch will be at the Visitors Centre which has a Cafe or you can bring your own lunch and have a picnic in the garden.

There is the option next for those who want to head home to leave and for anyone else wanting to do some more exploring we will be visiting the Forbes Arboretum.
