Gunnamatta to St Andrews Beach - Hybrid Mid–Fitness hike 10km!
Event description
HYBRID Hike- Event Leader - Taryn
Keen to test your fitness on the trails - but not sure if you can keep up the whole way? This hike is designed to help you challenge yourself in a supported way.
We’ll begin the hike at a Fitness Pace (approx. 6km/hr over varied terrain). It’s fast, focused, and designed to get the heart rate up. But if you find it tough to maintain that pace, you’ll have the option to drop into a Mid-Pace group led by a second hike leader.
This format allows you to:
Push your limits without pressure
Walk with confidence knowing support is nearby
Be part of a safe, well-managed hike at your level
Whether you’re building up to fitness hikes or just want to give one a go — this is the perfect bridge between our Mid-Pace and Fitness events.
Okay people, this is a great one....
Gunnamatta Ocean Beach is renowned for its epic surf, but Parks Victoria offers some truly epic coastal tracks that are worth exploring! You’ll be captivated by the rugged coastline and incredible views of surfers riding the waves. While there’s some sand walking on this trek, the reward is worth the effort, after all, we love to add a touch of endurance to our hikes. It's not overly intense, but enough to work up a bit of a sweat. Expect a mix of challenging terrain, serene coastal shrubs, and narrow, winding trails.
If you're thinking of joining solo, don’t worry most of our hikers do! We’d love to have you with us!
We will commence our trek from Gunnamatta Ocean Beach in the direction of St Andrews Beach. We will complete a total of 10-12km’s on sand and trail hiking. This is a return trip!
