Guru Purnima Celebration 2022
Event description
Join us for one of our favourite Vedic celebrations of the year, Guru Purnima.
On this night, under the brightest full moon of the year (purnima), when the moon is closer to the Earth than at any other time, our tradition alongside the whole of India expresses gratitude for all the teachers (gurus) in our lives. For us, we especially give gratitude to the masters of our Vedic meditation tradition who have passed down this transformative knowledge and wisdom for us to experience and embody today.
This year we will be gathering at Greenfields for a group meditation, ceremony and kirtan led by Heidi Trigar.
Friends, family, and partners of Vedic meditators are all welcome!
WHEN: Wednesday 13th July, 6:30pm-9:30pm
WHERE: Greenfields, Albert Park
COST: $20 (+BF)
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a reusable cup for tea, cushion to sit on (seats will be available to those who would prefer back support), a flower to offer in ceremony.
