Gusto Gusto ‘Tyrannosauroborus’ Album Launch With Greshka

Melbourne's Gusto Gusto bring their second album Tyrannosauroborus to Brisbane with a instrumental dance party at Mirrorball Ministries.

The last two years have seen Gusto Gusto storming stages including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Dark Mofo (TAS) and Port Fairy Folk Festival (VIC) and playing shows with Skerryvore (SCO), Snarky Puppy (US) and Sex On Toast.

Amidst a whirlwind year with over 50 shows they found time to record a 13 track genre crossing album, a raucous instrumental blend of accordion, trumpet, clarinet and rocking rhythm section that traverses the worlds of funk, afrobeat, djent and celtic music.

Tyrannosauroborus is led by singles Sunday Scaries, Split Second, Astro 9 and Down Below.

Supported by Brisbane's own Greshka, a six piece neo-gypsy/klezmer ensemble not unlike a chipotle and cocaine kebab: you’re not sure where it’s from, but it sure knocks you off your tits. A torn canvas of Romanian gypsy dons a filthy smear of electronica, metal, jazz-funk and classical-arrangement.
