We've always believed that our brains are in our head, orchestrating us into being. Telling us what we should and shouldn't do.

And yet so often, for many of us, we get gut-wrenching sensations in our belly's that seem to almost keel us over to turn our gaze away from certain decisions. Is that not an intelligence speaking to us? Is that not a brain itself?

And sometimes this communication is constant. Pain, gas, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, food intolerances... So we might try change our food groups, cut some out, lessen the other, we might try eat less and restrict, all to try and stop this communication... And yet when do we actually ask our bellies what they are trying to tell us? When do we cup our weighted organ circle of knowing and ask 'what do you need sweet child?'.

We will chew on the concept of stress and the role it plays on our bellies abilities to digest life.

We will taste into the 2 way communication of our Belly-Brain and our Head-Brain, to perhaps decipher the messages we are receiving in the form of pain, sensation or symptom. AAND begin to be able to communicate back to our beloved Belly.

By remembering how to interpret the Guidance of our Gut, we may begin to feel a deeper sense of connection to our Self and our relationship to the world around us.

The style of this workshop is Embodied Learning, therefore there will be space for sharing, space for a guided practice and space for you to digest the information.

How am I? I am an adventurer, a Science gal who feels most alive when she's remembering ancestral wisdom through her bones or the song lines of the Earth. Around 3 years ago (to the day) I was diagnosed with Crohns and Ulcerated Colitis after experiencing bloody stools, extreme pain when passing bowel motions, fowl gas and intense bloating. I was told I would have this for life, and my only option was immune suppressing drugs and surgery. I devoted myself to a journey of slowing down enough to listen to my intuitive guidance into natural self healing. I am now auto immune symptom free, and believe that I now have a Belly who will tell me when things aren't in my highest truth. So my life is devoted to listening and following this guidance, and inspiring others to do the same.
