Our Presenters & their topics

Emma Lloyd, naturopath with post grad studies in homeopathy, herbal medicine, and nutrition.
She has completed microbiome training and ongoing mentoring with Dr Jason Hawrelak, Dr Brad Leech and Co-biome.
As a result, Emma has a keen interest in all things gut health and the microbiome.

Talk Title : Gut health foundations
Emma's talk will cover the foundations of what 'good gut health' means,
the role of the microbiome on systemic health, factors affecting the
microbiome ie things to avoid or minimise, and simple, effective ways to
improve your gut health and support a healthy
balance.

Dr Sonja van Niekerk, Homeopath, Naturopath & Functional medicine Practitioner
Dr Sonja has a special interest in energy medicine and bio-resonance. She has over 20 years' experience.

Talk Title: Gut health and parasites
Parasites may be a contributor to poor gut health. In this informative session you will learn about
the types of parasites, potential source, possible symptoms, investigation and therapeutic options.

Emily Rankin, Kinesiologist
Kinesiology is a combination of ancient eastern energetic healing arts with western physiological healing sciences. Muscle monitoring is used to address physical, emotional, mental, nutritional and spiritual issues.

Talk Title: The nervous system's influence on gut health
In her talk , Emily will be discussing the brain's influence, including our thoughts and emotions, on our gut health from her view as a kinesiologist.

Jaime Pope, qualified massage therapist and Qigong Instructor

Talk Title: Qigong moves for gut health
Jaime will be showing us some Qigong moves to support out gut health.

This holistic health event is being held on Saturday 10 May 2025 from 1.00pm to 3.30pm at Retravision Stadium, 156 Lockyer Avenue in Albany, Western Australia.

After the presentations there will be an opportunity for questions and to personally meet the practitioners.

The cost is just $15 per ticket (plus booking fee) and spaces are limited. Booking is recommended to reserve your spot and avoid disappointment (tickets at the door may be available). Light refreshments provided.
