Collage Creations with Imaginary Leaps: A Journey into Artistic Expression

Discover the magic of collage in this creative and engaging workshop led by the internationally acclaimed artist and educator Rachel Riggs from Imaginary Leaps!

This workshop invites participants to explore the art of collage as a medium for storytelling, emotional expression, and creativity. Using vintage and modern images, participants will learn to cut, layer, and paste to create unique compositions that reflect their imagination and individuality. Rachel’s approach blends fun, artistry, and social well-being, ensuring a meaningful and enjoyable experience for all.

Location: Education Room, The Wetlands Centre Cockburn, 184 Hope Road, Bibra Lake WA 6163

Suitable Age Groups: Children 7+ accompanied by adults

Price:

  • $15 per child (adults must accompany children, tickets required)
  • $7.50 per adult
  • $50 per family (2 adults and up to 3 children)
  • Concession tickets available (for concession card holders and other eligible categories)

About the Presenter:

Rachel Riggs is an internationally recognised creative learning specialist and founder of Imaginary Leaps, a platform for inspiring creativity through play and art. With a Master’s in Fine Art and extensive experience in visual theatre, puppetry, and sensory arts, Rachel has worked with leading cultural institutions worldwide, including the Tate Modern, Sensorium Theatre, and the State Library of Western Australia. Her workshops emphasise emotional and social well-being, fostering self-confidence, collaboration, and artistic expression in participants of all ages.
