Secret Life of Reptiles: A Close Encounter with Native Wildlife
Step into the wild and discover the fascinating lives of Western Australia’s reptiles in this engaging school holiday program!
Join us in partnership with WA Wildlife for an exciting session at The Wetlands Centre. Learn about the native reptiles that call Bibra Lake home, their unique adaptations, and how we can play a role in their protection. This interactive event includes hands-on encounters with some of WA Wildlife’s amazing resident reptiles, including Tom the turtle, who is sure to steal the show. Whether it’s learning how to be “reptile aware” or understanding the movement of turtles as the weather warms, this program is perfect for curious kids (and adults!) who want to learn and have fun at the same time.

- $15 per child (adults must accompany children, tickets required)

- $50 per family (2 adults and up to 3 children)

Lauren, a dedicated Education and Training Officer from WA Wildlife, brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to this session. Known for her tireless commitment to animal rescue and rehabilitation, Lauren is an expert in engaging audiences with captivating stories and insights about Western Australia’s native reptiles. Get ready to learn from one of the best!
- This program is strictly for children and families. Adults are welcome to attend only as guardians accompanying children (for reasons of child-safety). We cannot accept bookings from adults not accompanied by children.
