One of the most accomplished multi-genre dancers in the country, Jes brings together her
training styles in Bollywood, Hip Hop, Soca, Afro and some Latin styles to bear on her
Dancehall. She is one of Australia's recognised Dancehall dancers, having started training in the style in 2010.

Indian, Sri Lankan and Nepali in origin, Jes is a staple of the multicultural Sydney dance scene.
She has been a dancer with the Dancehall Funk (DHF) Family and a founding member of
ground-breaking South Asian Fusion crew BINDI BOSSES. She has also recently started and co-created Gyal Time, dedicated to empowering women in the local community through female style dancehall classes.
She is a member of the Sydney Dancehall Community (SDC) and its offshoot Dancehall collective, Rituall.
Jes has trained in Jamaica and has been to Dancehall Mecca in 2022. She has helped organise and facilitate Dancehall Workshops in Sydney, most recently for Happy Feet and King Kayak with SDC.
