    Event description

Join us for an inspiring and educational workshop, Habitat Heroes: Wildlife Gardening. Led by Angela and Paul, also known as the Two Bushies. This dynamic duo will guide you through the essential elements that can transform your garden into a thriving haven for birds, reptiles, mammals, insects, and more!

    In this workshop, you will:

    • Discover the Importance of Native Plants: Learn how to select and incorporate native plants that provide essential food and shelter for local wildlife.
    • Provide Shelter: Get tips on adding nesting boxes, logs and rocks, and other elements that offer safe havens for creatures big and small.
    • Enhance Food Resources: Learn about the relationships between plants and wildlife within your garden and how to support them through thoughtful planting and maintenance.
    • Understand Landscape Connectivity: Learn the importance of providing our wildlife a safe haven to travel through in our fragmented landscape.

Angela and Paul will share their extensive knowledge and practical advice, drawing from their own experiences in wildlife gardening. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or a beginner, you will leave this workshop equipped with the tools and inspiration to make a positive impact on your local environment.
