This exciting collaboration brings together the energy and talent of Wakatipu High School’s vibrant performers and the creative expertise of StageAntics.

Welcome to the underworld… where the road is long, the wind is cold, and a song just might change your fate.

Hadestown: Teen Edition is a bold, electrifying folk-opera that intertwines two mythic love stories — young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and the powerful, complicated bond between Hades and Persephone. Set in a world where industry rules and hope is a radical act, Orpheus journeys to the underworld to rescue Eurydice, armed with nothing but his music and an unshakable belief that love can light the darkest places.

Join us for a night of haunting melodies, driving rhythms, and a story that feels both ancient and urgently now, Hadestown: Teen Edition is a powerful celebration of resilience, community, and the courage it takes to hold onto hope.
