Haessa: Vol. 1
Description
Haessa presents: 3Phaz ٣فاز
We are thrilled to be bringing one of Egypt’s most brilliant pioneers to our familiar grounds. 3Phaz is a Cairo-based producer/DJ known for his fundamental contributions to Egypt's simmering post mahraganat/shaabi scene, blending footwork, jungle and techno with futuristic percussive bass.
To support, we have DJ/radio host Marroushti. Marroushti is the founder and host of Salaam Radio on 3CR, where she highlights emerging artists from the SWANA region and its diasporas. A keen selector, anticipate anything from Arabic mazzika to electronic tones with bass weight.

No one is turned away for lack of funds.
This event is taking place on land stolen from Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. Sovereignty was never ceded anywhere in so-called ‘Australia’. Please consider what it means to live on and attend events on stolen land. We all have an obligation to ensure we are taking steps to politically, economically and socially stand with Indigenous peoples, here and all across the globe. Always was, always will be.
This event is proudly supported by Blank Cultural Platform
