HAG-IA Finissage

We have sat together in communication and began to unravel and re-learn our women ancestors’ stories. We did this through a process of deep, listening, archival research and connecting with the materials of our late women ancestors. Now we have organically created a work derived from our conversations, our making together and our own body experience of the revelations that have arisen.

Four gatherings have now been had.

Together we have shared stories with each other about our women ancestors and begun creating a work of art. 

See, hear, feel what we have discovered. 

This is just beginning. 

This process will now continue, together, and culminate during SALA 2025
