Inclusive Crewing Project: Free Micro Workshop – Hair & Makeup for Inclusive Filmmaking

Calling all Crew!

Are you ready to build your confidence in supporting people with disabilities on set? Our new Inclusion in Action micro workshops are just the ticket. Designed for time-poor creatives, these fast and free online sessions provide easy access to expert-led information and resources to help you work with or employ people with disabilities in your production team.

Whether you're a DOP, Hair & Makeup Artist, or an Editor, there’s a session for you.

Date: Monday, 14th April
Time: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM AEST
Location: Online Zoom Session

Our fourth micro workshop will focus on Hair & Makeup for Inclusive Filmmaking. This session will be led by an industry expert alongside a person with a disability, offering insights into fostering a culturally safe workplace and ensuring individuals’ needs can be accommodated and supported on set.

Each 30-minute session is offered three times to keep group sizes small and interactive.

Sessions are free, but registration is required.

The Inclusive Crewing Project is proudly funded by the Department of Social Services through a Building Employer Confidence Grant.
