"Hair Talks"

Hair is a life force & it reveals the nature of your health.

"Hair Talks" is a workshop focused on learning how to listen to your hair as an indicator of your overall internal and external wellness.  We will discuss herbs to support hair health, the connection of hair to the Crown Chakra, Green Science Theory, and Organic vs traditional hair coloring, and products. We will learn how to identify sensitivities to hair products and environmental factors such as "build up & scalp health" from your shower water.   
There will be "Wet Stretch Test" tests performed on willing participants' hair which will help indicate certain factors like having enough protein in your diet.  We will also discuss how the environment you reside in impacts your hair.

This workshop is co-facilitated by Brooke Johnson & Nicole Morelli

Brooke is a founding member of The Sacred Path ~ Herbal Collective.  She is a Green Witch herbalist who has been supporting the community for the past three years via Transcending Roots Apothecary.  Brooke is also a Mother and Postpartum Doula.  She knows firsthand the importance of hair health after experiencing alopecia during her Postpartum journey.  She has learned how to work with herbs that support hair growth & strengthening. She believes is it essential to educate others on the bridge between hair and our Crown chakra as a source of overall connection with the Life Force all around us.

Nicole has been in the salon industry for 30 years and her passion and love for her industry grows more with every passing year. Her dedication, hard work, and continuing education have led her to become a Color Specialist, PA-licensed Cosmetology teacher, and NA Mentor for Organic Colour Systems. 

Nicole's path to transitioning to Organic happened eight years ago when her health became at risk.  She started to develop sensitivities to traditional colors and products. ''I thought my career had ended, so I needed to start looking for healthier alternatives. I was NOT giving up my profession!"

She found Organic Colour Systems and the rest became history.
