Event description
A fully interactive workshop experience that uses traditional Māori tools for deep transformation.
- Embody your inner warrior.
- Stand, speak, listen, connect and move more powerfully.
- Heal and rebalance masculine feminine energies within.
- Strengthen your honour and connection to Self, those around you, Māori culture and the land of Aotearoa.
Do you want to step into your power as a leader? Perhaps you’d like to be more grounded, connected to spirit, the ancestors and all people present when speaking in a group? Are you ready for people to really tune in and hear your words of acknowledgement and honour? To feel more confident in your own skin? Find your warrior, reclaim your power and embrace your internal bad ass?
This workshop will cover traditional Māori practices including the warrior energy of haka (traditional power dance) and the hongi (sharing the breath of life), story, the art of introduction, and several simple yet extremely powerful masculine and feminine practices that are profoundly honouring, healing, connecting and empowering.
Matiu has been teaching Kapahaka, Māori language and culture for over 25 years. He is an engaging facilitator, dynamic international musician, storyteller and the epitome of a warrior and leader. His approach is welcoming, inspiring, fun and empowering.
Participants will leave with ancient practical tools to support them in the way they stand, speak, listen, connect and move powerfully through this life and into the next.
This workshop is suitable for anyone 14 yrs of age and up, who is up for real growth.
We can sincerely promise hand on heart, that Matiu’s presence and workshop will leave you with a long lasting beneficial effect, as it did us.
