Halloween Art Soirée

On the final night of October, Halloween, the veil thins and our ART Soirée is your invitation to cross into the half-lit world beyond — a liminal space where ghosts sip cocktails, ghouls create art by candlelight, and villains pose for portraits in velvet and smoke.

This is not a party or an art class. This is an apparition!

Come dressed in your favourite Gorgeously Ghoulish, Eerier Elegancy, Creepy Classic or Spooky spectacular outfit

A one-night salon of strange creativity, where nothing is quite what it seems.

As the lights dim, guests will be drawn to:

🎸 Enjoy a curated playlist of film and music clips on the big screen

📸 Visit the themed photo booth with props and styling pieces for pictures so gorgeous it should be a crime

🏁 Prizes for Best Dressed

✨ Explore a collection of self-guided creative stations throughout the evening

🎲 Take part in our how-to-host-a-murder style game with clues and hints throughout the night!

🍸 Food and drinks available to purchase from the bar throughout the evening

Creative Stations

This is not a formal art class: Move between activities at your own pace, spend extra time on the projects you love, enjoy great food and drinks from the bar, take photos with friends and settle into a playful atmosphere designed for fun, creativity and connection.


🦋 Mixed media: Ravens, Moths and Ghouls

Choose from a collection of raven, moth and ghoul designs. Collage images onto playing card sized papers and then add some words, a little silver and some ink splatter to make dramatic and mysterious minature art works

🏚️ Haunted House Canvas Painting

Create your own moonlit haunted house artwork on canvas. Choose from a selection of tracing stencils and guided designs, then bring your painting to life with acrylic paint on a small canvas. Quick and satisfying so you can chat to friends while you paint!

👁️ Watcher Stones

Transform ordinary river stones into curious keepsakes using vintage eye imagery, paint and metallic embellishments. Create your own mysterious watcher stone worthy of a cabinet of curiosities.

Who Can Attend

• Adults and teens welcome (young people must attend with an adult)

• Come solo, with friends or as a group

• No art skills or creative experience needed — absolute beginners encouraged

Your Host

Emmie Murphy from Wild Learning is a community artist, creative producer and facilitator known for creating immersive arts experiences that blend creativity, atmosphere, storytelling and connection.

Her events combine hands-on creativity with themed styling, music, playful social experiences and a welcoming atmosphere designed to help people relax, dress up, try something new and step into a different world for the evening.
