Description

Recently reimagined by a passionate team of local designers and craftspeople, Halse Lodge now blends nostalgic charm with modern comfort. From restored timber floors and the original 1880s piano to playful interiors inspired by 1970s beach holidays, the Lodge is a celebration of Noosa’s spirit - past and present.

Join us for a captivating Walk and Talk to hear the story of Halse Lodge, Noosa’s longest continuously operating guesthouse, originally built in the 1880s. Nestled just behind Hastings Street, this heritage listed treasure has welcomed generations of travellers, locals, and beachgoers. Discover how the Lodge evolved from a humble guest house into a vibrant community hub, and hear tales of its colourful past, including its role in shaping Noosa’s laid-back coastal identity.

The event includes a Noosa Heritage panel Talk (approx. 20mins) with Richard McGilvray Shaun Walsh, Gina Sheer.

Whether you're a history buff, architecture lover, or simply curious, this tour offers a unique chance to connect with the heart of Noosa through one of its most beloved landmarks.

Halse Lodge is heritage listed by National Trust of Australia (Queensland)
