Pals, Paint, and Pottery: An Ocean-Inspired Creative Night

This on has been a long time coming! We are so excited to announce this collaboration with Hannah, who has been one of our regular freediving guests and community members for the past 3 years.

We are hosting a creative night of pottery painting! Alongside nibbles and (byo) drinks, you'll be guided through to steps to paint a gorgeous, personalised translucent tea light, inspired by the ocean's most extraordinary animals and underwater moments. Share your underwater memories and dreams with your fellow painters as you decorate your own light to take away.

As an expert porcelain painter, Han will be there to provide guidance, ocean and freediving reference images and help you get the most out
of your design.

In addition to being provided with all materials and expert guidance, there will be nibbles provided. You're welcome to BYO drinks. 
If you wish to have your pot fired following the class, please bring $10 cash on the night to cover the cost of the kiln. The pots will be fired in the subsequent days following the class and Han will be in touch when they are ready for collection.

• A Cozy Venue: Relax in the intimate and inspiring atmosphere of The Living Room, Bustle Studios in Surry Hills.
• New ocean loving friends: Come alone or with your buddies. Be prepared to get to know new faces!
• Tasty Treats: Complimentary snacks to keep your creative juices flowing.

At the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful piece to remember the night by. If you wish to preserve your masterpiece, you can opt to have it kiln-fired for just $10 (cash only), with collection arranged post-event.

What to Bring:

• Your fave drinks! Plus a water bottle to keep hydrated
• Any favourite snacks (we will provide nibbles but if you have a particular dietary requirement please bring a backup!)
• Clothes you can paint in - Aprons are provided but you never know when a rogue knee might pop out.
• $10 cash if you want to get your tealight jar kiln-fired
