Hand-built Ceramics with Anna Mallyon
Event description
Ceramic artist, Anna Mallyon will guide you through hand-building and glazing a number of items in this six- week series.
Anna will share her vast knowledge of the science and art of building technically robust ceramic art and cover a range of technical aspects that include glazes, clay bodies and firing. This is a rare opportunity to focus on key technical skills not often covered in short courses. This course will be about making large pots and their aesthetic and technical considerations.
Anna studied ceramics at ANU under the supervision of Greg Daly and later Lia Tacjnar and continues her study at VCA. She has been practising as an artist for more than a decade and established Melbourne Ceramics Network in 2014.
This is one of the few opportunities to learn with this unique teacher - to ensure a high-quality learning experience, the number of participants is capped at 10 – don’t miss out on a sought-after place in this class.
