Hand Drawing Architecture Masterclass
Event description
The Drawing Room presents its very first architecture hand drawing workshop led by Mohammed Kadan.
Mohammed will present his existing work, including observational architectural drawings, detailed studies, and imaginative landscapes. The class will cover the fundamentals of perspective drawing and conclude with a live drawing demonstration.
Mohammed is a Senior Architect and Facade Lead with extensive experience in project leadership across complex building typologies, including mass timber Passivhaus developments. Highly adept at facade detailing, he thrives in navigating complexity — whether driven by ambitious architectural expression, demanding sustainability targets, challenging NCC compliance requirements, or a combination of all.
His keen interest in Building Physics underpins his approach to designing buildings that promote health and wellbeing, while also responding to the increasingly stringent performance requirements set out in the NCC.
Doors will open at 11am to settle in with the workshop commencing at 12pm.
The Drawing Room is a self directed experimental architectural drawing club run by Sree Arun and Safa El Samad once a month.
