Handbuilding With Clay -Short Course

Pinching, coiling, slab, draping .... these are clay handbuilding terms!

In this 4 week x 2hr workshop series you will learn about these terms and apply them to a range of projects - cups, planters, platters and more. You'll try various clay types, experiment with design and decoration techniques and learn the basics of glazing and firing.

This workshop is perfect for beginners (and the more experienced too), you'll learn some great skills with expert guidance and friendly encouragement in a comfortable unique studio space.

All materials, firing and glazing is included!

*Nuttree Studio operates with a Voluntary Covid Safe Plan. Space allows for appropriate social distancing and hand sanitiser is available. You may wear a mask if you prefer. Please do not attend if you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone that has. Michele has over 20 years experience delivering visual art programs for tertiary and private students and community groups focusing primarily in clay or drawing. She is also a practicing artist creating unique works for group and solo exhibitions and retail outlets.
