HANDS ACROSS THE WORLD - 2022 CAMBODIAN DINNER FUNDRAISER @ MY BAYON

TRAINING TEACHERS TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES. 

Improving Education in Cambodia Hands Across the World is a not-for-profit organization working to improve education in Cambodia. By 2027, with the help of our generous supporters, we aim to provide quality education to 258,000 children at just $1.98 per child.

My Bayon is the best Cambodian Restaurant in Perth! Bayon is a temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia with over 200 smiling faces. They want to share the unexplored cuisine, culture, and history that is truly Khmer, all the food is homemade with love and authenticity, recipes passed down from generations of mixed South-East Asian culture. My Bayon awards include Gold Plate Awards Finalist 2021 - Travellers Choice 'Best of the Best 2021 - Trip Advisor Travellers Choice 2020.

TICKETS $75 per person   

Join us for an evening of fine Cambodian cuisine, a glass of Bella Ridge Estate Demi Sec upon arrival, entertainment, raffles, games and prizes.  All donations go directly to the Interactive Teacher Training Siem Reap project in Cambodia.

MENU

ENTREES:

VEGETARIAN SPRING ROLLS - Individually hand-rolled with a delicious filling cabbage, taro, sweet potato, mushroom, carrot, onion and vermicelli glass noodles. Served with sweet chilli sauce.

BAYON CHICKEN SATAYS - Darwin Mindil Beach Markets inspired chicken satays. Served with homemade peanut sauce.

THE BAYON WONTONS - Homemade steamed wontons filled with pork and prawn mince, jicama, onion and spring onion.

VEGETARIAN SIEM REAP RICE PAPER ROLLS - Fresh vegetables, herbs and rice vermicelli noodles. Served with homemade dipping sauce and crushed peanuts.

MAINS:

AMOK CHICKEN CURRY - Famous Khmer thick coconut curry, served in banana leaf with kaffir lime leaves & special Khmer Kroeung spices.

KAI LAN (CHINESE BROCCOLI) IN GARLIC & OYSTER SAUCE - Steamed green vegetable drizzled with aromatic garlic and oyster sauce.

LEMONGRASS CHILLI BEEF STIR FRY - Beef slices stir fried with green beans, capsicum, onion & basil in flavoursome lemongrass, lime leaf and chilli sauce.

VEGETARIAN SOM LOR GEE (GREEN CURRY) - Eggplant, carrot, pumpkin, green beans, capsicum, mushroom, tofu and basil in a Khmer style green coconut curry.
