Join us in learning te ao Māori approach to restoration!

Hands On Ecology workshop series is designed for community restoration groups and anyone keen to learn about restoration ecology through a te ao Māori lens. A 3-hour session offers practical skills for restoring private and public spaces, and may include up to 2 hours of walking—please dress appropriately and bring water/snacks.

This session covers:

• Pulling all the learnings of the last nine weeks together.

• Markers of success

• Shared learnings

• Plant identification

• Speak to the whenua, describing the site & site analysis

• Wrap up, shared kai

Registration is essential as participant numbers are limited for health and safety reasons.
