Wake up, enjoy some medicinal cacao, and do some handstands!

Join me on the appointed morning a class in this beautiful art space. Here I will be sharing my knowledge of movement & handstands. I have been handstanding for almost my entire life, first as a British gymnast, and now as a circus enthusiast, and I have found so much joy, peace, challenge, and tranquility, in being upside down, that it is time for me to share this gift with others.

This class is great for complete novices, all the way up to someone who is close to achieving a free balance. In the class, I will detail what it means to actually have a great handstand, as well as introducing 'safe practice' which includes not only extensive body & wrist warm-ups but also information that will enable you to confidently practice safely outside of the class if you wish. A handstand takes time, perseverance, and commitment to achieve (-hot tip - these are the qualities necessary to be successful in ANY area of life... so practice them in a fun way and see them spread across to the rest of your life) so, of course, I can't teach you to handstand in a single class. What I can give you, however, are the tools to teach yourself. So, keep coming to class and let me make this journey easier.

If you have never done a handstand, do not fear that I will suddenly ask you to try it in front of lots of strange (but friendly) people. In fact, the great thing about handstands and other functional movements is that everything is totally scalable! This means that I can always break down movement patterns into simpler & safer versions so that, together, I can support you to safely build strength, balance, and confidence in yourself to one day make it upside-down.

This class is about fun, healthy movement, connection with like-minded souls, and starting your day off knowing you are tackling something new or honing in on a goal long-sought but never conquered.
