Over three evenings, the jewel in the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney’s crown, The Calyx hosts Happenings, a curatorial blur between cutting edge electronica and new classical crossover music alongside some of Sydney’s finest queer performance artists.
Join the Happenings crew for a night of mingling, listening and prancing, and get amongst their no rules open genre approach to music that is part concert, part cabaret and all dance floor.

Please note: Happenings is a social that has elements of both a music concert and a dance party. Guests are encouraged to arrive as close to the event start time as possible (as if you are going to a concert), so as not to miss any of the musical treats, and come ready to dance if that's your vibe (cos it's also a party!). Food and drink will be available for purchase at the venue courtesy of Laissez-faire. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
