Happy Birthday Lost Souls! - Readings and Music

Time flies in the realm of Lost Souls! Did you know we are one year old this winter solstice?

We invite you to help us mark the first year since our dark, strange and beautiful birth with readings and music. Our performers will share a beguiling blend of horror short stories, an “in character” short talk and weird poetry, followed by music of bittersweet melodies and rhythms.

This night will also be a chance to acknowledge the creativity, skill and persistence of all our amazing contributors and performers after our first twelve months of publishing and hosting live events.

The Lost Souls community features a diverse and wonderful variety of novelists, short story writers, poets, illustrators, painters, singers, songwriters, script writers, podcasters and many talented others from Canberra.

Many in the Lost Souls community have seen great achievements this past year, especially through our magazine. There have been nominations for short story awards, appearances on ABC radio, positive reviews, re-publishing of our work, our first digital publication from the magazine and many more.

And, of course, none of this would have been possible without our lovely audience!

As our community changes and grows through the cycle of death and renewal with the winter solstice, our performers will share with you work inspired by the shortest day and longest night of the year, and our first birthday.
