Celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori this school holidays and explore te ao Māori through a hands-on harakeke weaving session led by Whaea Debbie.
Learn about raranga (Māori weaving) and its significance within Māori culture and heritage. Tamariki will have the opportunity to create simple putiputi (flower) and bracelets while gaining an appreciation for this traditional art form. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
This event is suitable for tamariki aged 5 years and older. A parent or caregiver must attend to assist.
