Description

This special musical afternoon will showcase the talent of the Auckland Youth Orchestra as well as some of St. Peter's past and present students. You will also get a preview from our upcoming senior production of Beauty and the Beast. The repertoire includes Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet, Rococo Variation, items from Beauty and the Beast, and the alumni items accompanied by AYO.

A little about the Alumni performers:

Anna Hawkins (STP 2001-04) - an acclaimed performer with a captivating voice and a repertoire of work that crosses the divides of classical, folk and popular music.  She was a seasoned and stand-out performer in St. Peter’s productions and is a Distinguished Alumni Award winner. She is an international and local performer, featuring alongside orchestras, at special events, and in musical theatre. She is also a songwriter with four albums to her name.

Luke Bodle (STP 1994-98) - our 1998 Head Boy, Luke hasn’t been on stage for 20 years but he has kindly agreed to bring his talents back for the Harmony concert. He was a show-stopping performer in many a St. Peter’s production and played in various bands of the day.

Felix Rowe (STP 2015-21) – a star on the rise, having recently graduated from Te Kawau Toi (Wintec) with a Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts, with a strong foundation in musical theatre. He continues to build on his school performing arts experiences with a variety of roles across the Waikato, including performances with the Hamilton Operatic Society.
