Harmony Day Picnic 2025
Join us for our Harmony Day Picnic to celebrate the multiculturalism within our nation. With respect, open-mindedness and inclusivity, we stand together with all Australians to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
WHAT TO BRING:
BYO picnic rug, picnic if you desire and your dancing shoes! No alcohol, no glassware, no pets and no bean bags. Thank you in anticipation!
MUSIC AND DANCE PERFORMANCES:
Makepisi - A five-piece acapella lineup singing contemporary and traditional South African songs.
Ganga Giri - A world renowned didgeridoo virtuoso and innovator of a fusion of the ancient instrument with electronic beats.
Indigenous Outreach Project - Hiphop Crew: Change through the power of dance and music.
FOOD AND DRINK IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE:
There will be a variety of multicultural Food Trucks and the all important Coffee Van for our night owls.
TAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT: All proceeds go towards Woodleigh School’s Indigenous Scholarship Fund.
