Please join us for a special professional learning event hosted by The Song Room and led by 2023 ARIA Award winning Music Teacher, Sue Lowry.
During the 39 years Sue Lowry has been a teacher, 25 of those years have been in special schools and the last 11 have been teaching Music at Southport Special School. Internationally recognised and published for her work around developing process central pedagogies for students with the most profound disability, Sue is a strong believer that no child can flourish if they are seen as a collection of disabilities. Embracing their unique strengths and talents is the key to engagement and success.
This event will give an opportunity for school teachers in the Geelong region to develop their skills and knowledge on how to teach music to students with disabilities. The session will be informative, interactive and fun.
