Harmony in our Hands - 19 July
Event description
HARMONY IN OUR HANDS
Join Kadambari Maa for a FREE therapeutic drum circle as fundraiser for Save our Streets Foundation in Coolum Beach. Aim of this event is to introduce you to an experience of the Rhythm2Recovery method; which promotes harmony, self-reflection and connection through music and rhythm. You will experience mindful drumming and interactive games; helping to create non-verbal bonding in the group and reduce feelings of anxiety and isolation.
Sessions are being offered every second Friday. Register here for next gathering on 19th July 2024
This is an inclusive and beginner friendly event.
Please book your FREE ticket, so we know how many instruments to provide.
Doors open at 3.45pm for a 4pm start.
We prefer small groups up to 12 participants to facilitate safe discussion and sharing.
All your donations go to support the SOS Foodbank and the Save our Streets Foundation community activities in Coolum.
Harmony in our Hands drum circle focuses on participants' strengths and values through healing rhythms, reflection, group interaction, creative expression and mindfulness. The Rhythm2Recovery model is an evidence-based intervention utilizing simple drumming techniques and group games to support interpersonal connection, harmonious relationships, emotional regulation and cognitive reflection...in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
"A great afternoon and community experience. Spiritually uplifting. Thanks Kadambari." BF
"I really enjoyed the Drumming for Harmony group. Despite being a novice drummer, I was able to relax into the fun 'have a go' energy communicated by Kadambari's clear instruction. I'm looking forward to our next session and connecting again with this friendly group." LR
