Event description

Join us for Harp Deco at The Parlour. The Art Deco movement was a period of luxury, glamour, and exuberance, marked by dramatic architecture and bold geometric forms. The musical soundscape was changing also: from the beautiful classical forms of Pachelbel and Glinka, through to something different and more dramatic. Hilary Manning, performing on her Art Deco harp, will present a musical journey of the Art Deco period, showcasing the change from impressionism to thunder in the 20th century. There are limited places available for this event.
