Harrison is one of the most in-demand trumpeters, flugelhornists & arrangers in South Australia, having had the privilege of performing with/supporting various artists, including (but not limited to); Human Nature, James & John Morrison, Chali 2na, Harry James Angus, Kylie Auldist, Dusty Lee Stephensen, Corrella, Reinier Baas, James Muller, Jazzmeia Horn, Walter Smith III, Pablo Held, Lage Lund, Ethan Iverson, Roger Manins, 30/70, Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, Hindley Street Country Club, Sing It Live, and Peter Garrett.
Harrison graduated from the Elder Conservatorium Bachelor of Music in 2021, where he received the Helpmann Academy Award for Outstanding Trumpet Player for his commitment to the instrument. In 2023, He recorded and released his debut album of original music as a bandleader with his group ‘Sauce Code', whose members consist of Emile Ryjoch, Andrew Casey, Lenny Regione & Miles Farnan. This was an important milestone in his development as an artist, as it allowed him to explore many of his musical influences, including contemporary improvised music, fusion, funk, and various forms of modern beat music.
Most recently, he was selected to take part in the Siena Jazz (Accademia Nazionale del Jazz) International Summer Workshop in 2024, and again in 2025 as part of a scholarship he received to return to the intensive two week program in Italy. There, he had the privilege to study under international trumpet masters such as Avishai Cohen, Philip Dizack, Marquis Hill, Jason Palmer, Alex Sipiagin, Hermon Mehari and Fulvio Sigurtà.
His passions lie in performance within genres such as jazz fusion & contemporary groove music, as well as big band composition/arranging, where he is currently working on a ground-breaking new record centered around fusing this timeless format with innovations in modern beat music, featuring some of the most highly acclaimed domestic and international artists such as Mat Jodrell, Ross Irwin, Alexander Flood & Will Vinson.
