Harry Edwards Trio - SOHO Arts Series

Experience an afternoon  of original Tasmanian acoustic jazz with the Harry Edwards Trio at the SOHO Arts Concert Series on 17th August 2025. Led by acclaimed Hobart-based guitarist and composer Harry Edwards, the trio will perform compositions from their two celebrated albums, "Harry Edwards Trio" (2015) and "Only The World Remains" (2020).

Harry's compositions draw inspiration from Jazz Manouche traditions, film scores, modern jazz, and classical music, creating a unique and captivating sound. The trio, featuring Harry on lead guitar, Charlie McCarthy on violin, and Isaac Gee on double bass, has been praised for their fresh and innovative style. Internationally renowned gypsy jazz guitarist Robin Nolan described Harry as "a superb Manouche guitarist," noting that his original tunes are "very special."
