Harry Manx w/ Kevin Breit & The Yaletown Strings - JUST ADDED: Clayton Doley
Description
Harry Manx is a Canadian musician celebrated for his distinctive fusion of blues, folk, and Indian classical music, a style he often calls “mysticssippi.” Born on the Isle of Man and later based in Canada, Manx spent years studying under renowned Indian musician Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, which deeply influenced his approach to slide guitar and the Mohan veena. His music blends Eastern ragas with Western roots traditions, creating a meditative yet soulful sound. Since the early 2000s, he has released a series of acclaimed albums and earned multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, gaining an international following for his innovative, cross-cultural artistry.
This album release show features Kevin Breit (Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell) alongside The Yaletown Strings.
