Harvest Festival - Hops on the Hill

CERES has brewed up something special – and we want YOU to be the first to try it!

Our awesome pals over at Molly Rose Brewing have created a one-of-a-kind local beer and liqueur as part of their Not Wasted series, turning CERES food waste and produce into something delicious!

They’ve taken those tasty banana bread offcuts from our Merri Cafe and turned them into a Banana Bread Liqueur – yes, you read that right. But that's not all! The Not Wasted beer also features basil and rosemary leaves from Joe’s Market Garden, plus preserved lemons from the Merri Cafe.

So, what’s the plan? The Friday night before our Saturday Harvest festivities swing by the Merri Cafe for a night of delicious eats, tasty brews and a yarn. Nic Sandery (Founder & Brewer of Molly Rose) and Hemi Reidy (Merri Head Chef) will be there to talk about this unique project and their passion for transforming food waste.

There’ll be a DJ, sunset views, and of course, the much-anticipated beers waiting to be tasted. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it!

The Merri Bar will be open with yummy organic snacks and drinks available to purchase.
