Hat making Workshop

Join us for this fun and practical workshop of hat making. If you've ever wanted to learn how to make your own bucket or sun hat and have machine sewing experience, this workshop is for you! Over 4 hours (2 hour sessions over 2 weeks), we will cover all the sewing techniques you need to know to be sun smart and looking great at the same time.

Dates: Tuesdays Oct 14th and 21st, 4.30 till 6.30pm

All materials are provided, with plenty of choice. You're also welcome to bring your own fabrics if you choose (e.g. medium weight cottons or linens, old tea towels).

Use our patterns at the workshop, and if you wish you can purchase your own (multi sizes and both styles) for $12.

Machine sewing experience is required for this workshop - it's not for beginner sewists (but we have plenty of other workshops that are for beginners!).

Our Workshops: This hat sewing workshop is created using circular economy principles. This means we'll be using recycled and reclaimed fabrics, and haberdashery items for our sewing workshops. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
