Description

Nau mai, haere mai!

Te Whare Whakaora invites you to Hau Maranga, a wānanga designed to enrich the knowledge, skills, and confidence of kaiāwhina, health and wellbeing practitioners, and anyone aspiring to work in this space. Following our online session, this upcoming wānanga brings us together in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

Deeply rooted in Te Ao Māori, Hau Maranga draws on Māori knowledge systems and traditional practices to nurture growth in mātauranga, hauora, wairuatanga, and practitioner capability. This wānanga speaks directly to raising, expanding, and strengthening your mahi. Sharing practical tools that reinforce identity, belonging, and cultural competency when working in diverse environments and serving Māori whānau.

Thanks to Te Whatu Ora, this training is available with a sliding scale koha to confirm your place.
